@fesshole I thought I had a close friend until my brother and mother died within 9 weeks of each other in 2021. Her response to my message telling her each time was 'Aw, I'm sorry to hear that.' No follow up to see if I was ok and she's since deleted me on FB so I blocked her!

@StrugglingMamma My mother in law said the same thing when my eldest was born in 2006 but I paid no attention. Her eldest (my husband) was born in 1969 so she was full of it but she passed away in 2015 so can't challenge her on it now.

@MerylORourke One of my daughter's teachers told her class not to believe everything they hear on the BBC and Russia had very good reason to invade. She's known for being eccentric and refused to believe covid was real or wear a mask in class.

@fredsirieix1 That happened before Brexit though. My sister in law sent presents for my daughters from Aus a few years ago, we had to pay to have them released by customs, very unfair especially for presents.

@trishgreenhalgh My brother drowned off a beach in Tasmania, he could swim but wasn't a strong swimmer. I made sure my daughters became strong swimmers but I still don't want them swimming in the ocean.

@doctor_oxford My daughter's friends are watching youtubers and believing the videos/theories. They have refused the covid and flu jabs and are saying they will refuse the hpv vaccine they are due to have next week. They told my daughter she would die as she had the covid jab, it's just nuts!

@theAliceRoberts We're aren't religious but it's amazing to me how many get their kids christened when they don't believe themselves. Let the kids keep an open mind and choose for themselves when they get older.
