Before Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September, had been selected by President Trump to serve on the Air Force Academy board last year.

Charlie was appointed. He is now dead, so to honor him, his wife is taking his spot.

JUST IN: An arrest warrant has been issued for a Kentucky cheerleader who was accused of secretly giving birth before putting the baby in a trash bag.

A grand jury has voted to indict Laken Snelling, a former beauty queen, for manslaughter in the first degree.

The decision by the grand jury was made after hearing that the baby was born alive.

According to the Lexington Police Department, the cause of death was determined to be "asphyxia by undetermined means."

She is facing 10 to 20 years in prison.
