STEVE BARCLAY, Health Secretary
Coooeeeeee are you there @SteveBarclay?
2+ weeks since you were last around
OUR (not your) NHS is in crisis.
This is your job. We know you're rubbish at it, but anyone else would be sacked for not turning up to work.
P45 for Steve?
@itvnews Shameful! The Govt is totally responsible for the current crisis in the NHS and the state of the economy. Has there ever been a worse government than this? It isn't doing a single thing well. It is demonstrating complacency bordering on arrogance. We need a general election now.
@itvnews The mum probably tried to get in touch with a GP and couldn't while not wanting to sit with her poorly child for hours in urgent care The whole surgeries be being 'total triage' isn't working - get back to seeing people please!
⚠️ Due to the immense pressure on our services, the Trust has declared a critical incident at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan.
Our A&E is full. Do not attend, unless you have a life or limb-threatening emergency.
While it is no longer the law to self-isolate after a positive Covid test, current guidance suggests people should stay at home and avoid contact with others. https://t.co/Km0sBNN00G
