You have every right to not attend a university. The same with you have every right to not patronize a business. Imagine a world where you are getting paid by your workplace and they try to tell you that you can no longer buy any meat because the CEO is a vegetarian.

If you or your student don't like where the money is going for the university that you are attending, then you are free to go somewhere else. You have no right to try to tell a business (and universities are businesses) where they can and can't spend the money that they receive

Things like refusing to turn in grades until the university does what they want -- FIRED. The ones who blockaded paying students from using their campus -- FIRED. It appears that all these teachers are doing is teaching their students lack of accountability for their actions.

Hot take: Tenure for university professors is broken and antiquated. No one should be protected from incompetence or dereliction from the job that they are being paid to do. The professors who are using their position impacting students should be fired.
