Executive, Wife, Mother, Blazer Fan (#RipCity), Happy Hour Secret Shopper (if only it was a thing)... in my free time I like to... wait, what free time?
Powerful protest against facism - To protest, silently or loudly is a right we all have. We cannot allow that right to be taken away or silenced - from anyone. The first amendment is for all - even if it makes you uncomfortable or goes against your beliefs. This is Antifa.
@johnpaulharmon@NancyRomm Then why isn’t the federal government sending resources like addiction treatment and social services? Why send troops by claiming a false narrative, which won’t help those in need or support local businesses.
@Lippyaddiction As a resident of a condo 3 blocks away we don’t need to be protected from anything! Other than access to our neighborhood since they shut down the main access point for her visit! Glad she got to enjoy the view of our beautiful city during her visit!
@Acyn As someone that lives, walks and eats in Portland, living 4 blocks from the ONLY site of long term protest, I can tell you it was primarily peaceful for the last several months. We have a thriving restaraunt scene, which people enjoy everyday! Listen to the people that live here!
@TonyPapadopolis@JackSporz@DudespostingWs Definitely Portland! Been doing it for a couple of years now - Justin Timberlake joined them for their ride when in town for a concert last year.
BREAKING: Nine-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard is finalizing a three-year, $42 million contract to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell ESPN. Deal is expected to include a player option in 2027-28 and a no-trade clause. A storybook reunion home for the 35-year-old.
@SpencerHakimian When calculating the trade deficit between countries it appears the US doesn’t give countries credit for the digital services that they all purchase from US Companies. Maybe that should have been considered before starting these “negotiations”.
@WyzeCam Thank you for being open and dealing with the people trying to claim they know better. Sadly everyone will be figuring out that blindly believing the rhetoric that tariffs won’t affect them is false. Fellow importer feeling your pain - both $ and dealing with misinformation.
@RpsAgainstTrump As an American currently in Paris this is mortifying! Don’t compare a Palace that is older than our country to a Florida Golf Club! FFS - just another embarrassing moment on the world stage by this adminiatration!
@jonathanfired@aabregoabregap1@politicsusa46 CBP will not be so “understanding”. Goods will not be released from the port until the full duty (tariff) is paid. Carrier (also not “understanding”) will charge daily demurrage fees. Supply chains won’t stop, but it will bankrupt/close many small businesses in the coming weeks.
As an importer I can say with certainty the importer pays the tariff to US Customs - we cannot clear our goods from the port without paying the tariff. So many items are not mfg in the US, and will take years if even viable to bring the mfg to the US.
@TimothyJSmith1@jimi376 @realChrisNosky @JoJoFromJerz Ummm… importer here. Guarantee you our customers price goes up to cover the tariff we pay to the US government. And their price goes up to their customer, and so on. End of that chain is the consumer.
