Okay so hear me out. A culture of dog adoption perpetuates…more dog adoption. I get that that everyone wants to flex that they saved a dog from euthanasia, but having all these shelters and options just allows more backyard breeding. Domesticated dogs should be the pinnacle of eugenics. Each dog bred to perfect breed standards, with (very few) breeders having strict guidelines and a determined number of litters annually. And this comes from someone who has adopted dogs. They were all shitty little mongrels.

Also, euthanize all the pitbulls.
