CT has this weird parasocial relationship with anybody who doxxes and attaches their face to their content/trading, rasmr streams every day & puts his own capital behind his trades, there should not be any animosity towards someone who puts in more time than 99% of ppl here and is transparent + willing to do content that is actually digestible for your average person to understand

part of the reason crypto has such a bad reputation is because substantial portion of CT is just racist anons who speak poorly of anyone new coming into the space

Last year I lost all of my money in a coin called chillhouse. I reached out to people in the chillhouse telegram, just looking for someone to talk to. One guy responded and I spent an entire year pouring my heart out to him. He ended up scamming me for 18 dollars last week.

5 days into CT… 5 things i’ve noticed/learned

1. You can build real community here if you show up.
- lurking/liking posts is not enough. you have to show up and let your voice be heard. in doing so you will find your people and build your community which is so important in this space
2. I’ve learned more here at such a faster rate than any youtube video/ tiktok
- since social trading is becoming a thing. i am able to see the names of top performers and then check their X and see how they think and what their mentality is like. many even give insight to the systems they use to stay profitable.
3. Mentality will take you further than money ever could.
- is having a large port and winning PnL amazing, yes. but you can lose it all in an instant and at that point all you have left is your mindset and will to keep going. win / lose it’s on you to get up and try again.
4. Conviction is everything!
- conviction when you win proves to yourself that you were right and restores a sense of self belief. how you adapt when your conviction was wrong exposes the strength of your will.
5. Showing up daily regardless of the outcome really does pay off
-profound ik.. but it’s much easier said than done. traders who kept finding their way back to the charts after devastating losses have a true heart for this space. they’re not moved by the dollar sign attached to their portfolios, it stands as their badge of honor for the countless hours we aren’t privy to.

here's how i personally navigate the onchain market in a bull:

1. there are obvious spots that have momentum, good narrative, and grind higher (pve, leaders)

you want to be in these spots and hold with decent size relative to your portfolio

2. there are other spots that require a narrative formation or have a lot of "what ifs" attached to them

these are usually noise and people farming you (pvp, take advantage of you thinking about making higher multiples if you're desperate and/or at lower port value)

my job is to have good exposure to coins in section 1 and to do my best to avoid any coin in section 2

if i have a gambling urge and want a quick flip, i go for subnarratives (ie. riding the wave of a trader who has momentum and the attention/spotlight on them)

you need to make your way of thinking and system as simple and as clear as possible

you do not want to blindly throw money around at anything shiny

less is more, especially when it comes to clicking

think, watch, build a thesis, have conviction, have invalidations, and be intentional

every cycle they say "holders never win anymore"

every cycle it's the holders who end up having won the most
