@kiel_samsing Just read Man's search for meaning only a couple of months ago.
Currently I'm on "Mistakes were made, but not by me". Great book. Helped me to understand a lot of my decisions as an officer.
Over last week I had the pleasure of visiting friends and colleagues in the city of Geneva Fire Service and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research CERN Fire and Rescue Service. It's been great to learn how others solve the problems that we all come across.
Absolutely outstanding article from @PJNorwood in @fireengineering.
It succinctly points out that the challenge of fire service training is strongly based on high quality fire instructors training and competency.

@DACO_OpsDel@scotfire_glasgo@fire_scot Hi Boss. Could learning from bigger exercises (this one as an example) be shared across the wider service? Whether it's procedural aspects, equipment or training, it would be beneficial to gather findings and hear what other crews found challenging and what worked well.
Thanks.
