Dear @IAGovernor, some feedback from a Superintendent in the other 210, or so, districts not represented in the conversations: special education as a fee for service is a non-starter. And, with this seemingly newfound trust in districts & care for spec. education students: 5% SSA

I’m assuming with @IAGovernor focus on oversight and accountability in this legislative session that we will be seeing a bill soon detailing Iowa’s plan for accountability in Iowa’s private schools that receive public funds.

PebbleGo, BookFlix and curated book boxes are just a few of the resources special education and general education students in Iowa use a lot in school…provided by the AEA, losing access would put a big gap in high-quality resources.

My favorite event of the year and the WHS Class of 2023 didn’t disappoint! It was so fun catching up, seeing them walk their former halls and all of the hugs! They make us proud! #EEinKee #EasonPride
