Fell off the wagon a bit over the last 2 months while stressing about the house, a little bit of comfort eating. But pulling my head in now to get back on track.
So I guess I was on too high of a cloud from buying my first home and the universe has told me to calm down. Guys delivering some couches backed the truck into the house breaking the gutters and bending the roof. I’ve only been here 2 days.
I don’t know how @gingofthesouth does it, he just keeps marching forward. I swear this shit shaves years off your life. Hopefully when I get settled in the new house things can calm down a bit.
The last four months have been exciting but stressful as hell. Started a new job and bought a house. But the extra stress comes with a cost. Been a bit sicker than I usually am and as I get older I don’t bounce back as quick.
For 3 and half months I’ve been trying to buy my first home on a low deposit loan. I’ve changed jobs, done a lot of fast talking and done some creative financing to finalise it. But the end is in sight and I should be chilling in my own home by the end of the week.
Kia ora everybody.
My work is currently looking for a software developer who would like to learn how to be an iOS dev.
This is a junior / intermediate role suited for recent grads or somebody with a dev background who wants to pivot into an iOS dev.

Sweet, I should be able to get a 80% subsidy of a heat pump and install. That really helps as I’m going to have to be very frugal soon to help fund work on the new house.
So I heard something a while back around doing exercise that really stuck with me “exercise is hygiene, it’s something that should be part of your day like having a shower or brushing your teeth, a thing you do to help maintain yourself”
