CAF is participating in the @UN Food Systems Investment Forum in Barbados, a timely space for governments, investors, development finance institutions and partners to focus on how to finance more resilient, competitive and sustainable food systems.
CAF was represented by Dr Stacy Richards-Kennedy @stacyken17, Regional Manager for the Caribbean and Representative in Barbados and Sebastian Rodriguez, Principal Executive for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience. During the Investor Roundtable, How Capital Evaluates Caribbean Food Systems, Rodriguez joined development partners to examine where blended finance can have the greatest impact.

Rodriguez highlighted three priority areas where blended finance can make a difference: climate resilience and nature positive agriculture, enabling infrastructure and supply chain integration, financial platforms and intermediaries.
CAF is committed to working with global partners to mobilise financing and technical expertise for food systems that can create lasting impact and reach last-mile beneficiaries across Caribbean countries.
