“We wish to put on record its significant concern and disappointment with the potential implications of the plan by the Reform Party currently in charge of Staffs County Council to review and possibly diminish the protections for staff and citizens from vulnerable groups.”
UNISON, alongside Unite and GMB, had submitted a pay claim seeking an increase of at least £3,000 or 10%, a minimum hourly rate of £15 plus changes to annual leave.
The employers’ rejected all elements of the claim and offered a 3.3% pay increase.
