"I'm... curious."
At first, it seemed very intrusive. But, the more he thought about it, it seemed rather interesting. The room lacked any sort of evidence it had been touched, and if it wasn't for the little card left behind, he might have thought he had done it himself.
He -
Her gaze follows his movements, eyes falling to the card but she doesn't go out of her way to look. If he wishes to tell her, she wants to allow him that chance.
"Someone already rearranged your library?" Her question is laced in amusement. "How do you feel about that?"
- tucked the card away, deciding to keep this mystery to himself. But, he thought it was safe to assume that Niklaus wouldn't have allow a stranger to snoop around the compound.
One of the smaller guest bedrooms now seemed to be occupied, even the door had some form of magic -
Elijah hummed thoughtfully at the observation, but didn't respond immediately. He found himself in a particularly brooding mood, and the current dreary weather made it easy to organize the mess he'd found in his head.
"I think that's a matter of opinion," he said softly, eyes -

"I had plans to reorganize the books in the study," Elijah admitted with a puzzled tilt of his head, moving to reach a hand inside his suit jacket to pull out the card he found neatly placed on the desk. 'Hope you don't mind. T.'

He softly hummed in thought, slowly nodding his head in understanding before glancing over the grimoires and books open on the floor.
He must've read them all a hundred times, knew them well enough to know which one held which spells, but he didn't know which one would be able -
"My own thoughts...mostly."
The words fell from her lips easily for a change. There was never any use trying to give half truths when it came to Elijah.
"There's nothing to worry over brother. I'm working through it."
"Distracting yourself?"
Elijah leaned his arms on his knees before folding his hands in front of him, still attempting to interpret her mood.
"What's bothering you?"
βNothingβ¦before you look so concerned. I am just distracting myself by sorting through my grimoires and notes.β She offered a smile in an attempt at reassuring him.
Elijah hesitated in his spot before crouching down nearby, staring down at the grimoires like a curious child, as if they'd somehow reveal something new he hadn't found in Freya's hands.
"What are you doing?"
Her gaze shifts towards the steam coming from the cup before her attention drifts towards her brothers retreating form. "Thank you." Her tone is soft with a hint of gratitude. "You don't have to escape so quickly, you know."
He carefully places a fresh cup of tea near one of her books before turning to leave her in peace. He's pleased to see she's doing well, but he doesn't want to be on the receiving end of the mood she seems to be in right this second.
She can be found sitting on the ground at the compound, surrounded by her spell books and various notes. One empty mug and one almost full cup of coffee somewhere in between all of the books.
Her mood? Approach with caution.
Once he was pleased with the sound of the strings, he polished the instrument with a hum before gently tucking it back into its case and securing it.
"Hello, little brother" was said barely above a whisper, Elijah finally glancing up.
