Celebrating 60 years of Oregon Softball and 10 years at Jane Sanders Stadium. The 1990s saw the Pac-10 cement itself as the nation's premier softball conference. The Pac-10 won nine-of-10 NCAA Championships that decade. Oregon established itself as a regular postseason team as well. Led by All-Americans like Julie Cavanaugh and Kim Manning, the Ducks returned to the NCAA Tournament in 1990. Kathy Stahl, a three-time all-conference selection, Heather Holte and Laura Schmidt sparked another NCAA appearance in 1994. Oregon closed out the decade with back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament (1998-99). Jill Robinson was an all-Pac-12 selection both seasons, while other players named to the all-league team included Jennie Cook, Triawn Custer, Katie Mackey and Missy Coe, who still holds the program's single-season record for doubles - 18. Rachlle Taylor threw a school record 92 complete games in the 1990s, while Lindsey Welch played in a program-record 255 career games, most of which came during that decade. The longest game in program history was also played in the 1990s. Oregon and California went 20 innings in a 1994 NCAA Regional elimination game, which was won by the Ducks on Trina Salcido's game-winning RBI in the 20th inning. #GoDucks | #Version♾️
