Let us peel back yet another barefaced lie of Senator Rodante Marcoleta — the flimsy novice who is quickly gaining notoriety as a manipulator inside the Senate.

In his latest charade, Marcoleta had the gall to question Senate President Tito Sotto’s decision to remand Engr. Brice Hernandez to the PNP Custodial Centre — a move brokered with the Speaker of the House.
👉🏻 He had to be reminded, rather painfully, that he is not the Senate President and that there exists no rule requiring his “royal consultation” before such decisions are made. His wig almost fell off from the shock. 😜

Clutching at straws, Marcoleta then claimed he was still the Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman when the decision was made, and therefore should have been consulted.
👉🏻 This deception collapsed immediately. Majority Leader Migz Zubiri, with precision, reminded him that by then he was already stripped of that chairmanship — the role having gone to Senator Ping Lacson after the realignment. Bubble burst. Novice exposed. 🎯

Still not done embarrassing himself, Marcoleta argued that his contempt citation and custody order should still be respected, insisting Hernandez be returned to the Senate.
👉🏻 Again, Sotto clarified what should have been obvious: custody was never lost, Hernandez remained under the Senate’s protective custody, just at a different location.

And so there he was — big eyes rolling, lies tripping over each other, his onion-skin thinning by the second. Marcoleta keeps playing pretend statesman, when in reality he is nothing more than what he’s always been: a flimsy, dishonest, self-serving novice.

This is really embarrassing to watch. Sara can’t express herself well and clearly lacks depth. She resigned from DepEd w/o any solid achievement so what makes the DDS think she can handle an entire country? She has no vision, no direction & none of the qualities of a real leader. A famous name isn’t enough. Huwag sanang i damay ang buong bansa sa katangahan ng mga DDS.
