"Rapid unscheduled disassembly" aka "it blew the f*** up" 😂 props to PR on that description. To be clear, I'm cheering SpaceX on, but that is hilarious.
As if the flight test was not exciting enough, Starship experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly. Teams will continue to review data and work toward our next flight test.
With a test like this, success comes from what we learn, and today’s test will help us improve Starship’s reliability as SpaceX seeks to make life multiplanetary
Uh.... so.... I'm trying to think positively about QE and interest rates going down...darn near 100% certain this is the goal (good in the short term) but spidey sense tells me this isn't gonna be good for people I usually encounter - you know - normal people. #Holdontoyourbutts
JUST IN: The US Treasury Secretary just said: We're thinking about a successor for next fed chair, we'll start interviewing candidates in the fall.
He added: "The US Dollar is a global reserve currency. The Treasury has a big toolkit, we could boost buybacks"
Market chaos continues? - plan for the week - looking at retest of the daily 200ma and weekly 50 ma around 565/570 $SPY. Have quite a few long mean reversion trades on - once near resistance, I will likely close most of those trades depending on news and may go short. Short week
This is simply bad negotiating and a weak policy plan.
The truth about this volatile news is that the administration is simply not able to negotiate with China and keeps on thinking it has the upper hand.
Xi doesn’t want to talk to Trump until he undoes the chaos he has created. Trump keeps on thinking small concessions will do it but China does not care.
China has a long history of staying firm and being able to take pain. At 13% or exports they are willing to stay put.
China might be exporting more to the US than vis versa, but the amount of items and their significance to US businesses means disruption for the US.
The news feed doesn’t lie.

IF there is sense to be made of Trump’s wild swings, it’s that he was spooked by the bond market and not the stock market. Remember: he reposted a video saying he was tanking stocks to lower interest rates. But the bond yields skyrocketing last night signaled the opposite effect.
Gonna be an interesting week in the markets. March FOMC minutes come out Wednesday, March CPI on Thursday and March PPI on Friday. Next week Friday (April 17th) is Monthly Expiration. My favorite 2 weeks of every month.
Also expecting SPY to be closer to 550 or more in 6 months with a particularly decent bounce within 2 weeks - hoping for closer to 540 but that may be a bit of a stretch.
Feels like today/yesterday was an overdone selloff in the near term. Holding silver for a loss now - really should learn that lesson of setting stops. Closed out TSLA and gold trades. Expecting at least a hold of current prices - $500 was a magnet - expecting bounce.
Well that was unfortunate with Gold and silver. Out of gold and profitable - in silver still - should have placed a stop. Lots of red in the market and commodities
