Zheng Yin “Fan favorite” played like Brian Scalabrine throughout the entirety of the tourney, had the least skill but everyone loved watching him play. Was on a great team that had a chance at the ship, but Obermiller couldn’t push them over the edge
Clark Obermiller “Clarf” showed similarities to a prime Kobe in the first game of the tourney, dominated the shot attempts, but no one cared because he had the backpack on, went cold in the championship and inevitably came up short
Jarrett Hanko, the coach, “Stanko” showed Similarities to Kyle Korver, a spot up shooting wing who could get down and dirty on the boards, not being a primary ball handler was a perfect fit for coach.
Thomas Urban “Turban” played like RJ Barrett in this tourney, solid on both ends but made rookie mistakes in clutch situations and couldn’t close out either game. The clutch factor wasn’t there and the Misdemeanors were a shocking early exit of the tourney
Linus Denny “Rinus” played like Patrick Beverly throughput this whole tournament, lockdown defense, let Big Cheese handle things on the offensive end, congrats to the champs!
First NBA comparison of the day is that Colby “Big cheese” Stapleton played like a prime Tim Duncan on his way to tourney MVP: knock down from mid range and relentless in the paint
Members of Stankos Stallions (minus robert) will be participating in a 2v2 tourney tomorrow being played on a 9ft rim, based on production in this tourney we will make nba comparisons (past, present, and future) for every player participating shortly after the tourney is over.
More news coming our way, Drew Pyle, aka “Schmew” when asked about the amount of rebounds Hayden Davis grabbed over him, simply stated, “I shit my pants.”
BREAKING NEWS: Stallions head office said they are looking to move Kenny Sims in the offseason due to lack of minutes played, Sims played in 4 games for the Stallions and led them to a 2-2 record, was leading scorer in all but 1 of those games. Unexpected statement for sure
