Trade relative to your own port size
A whale throwing 5 SOL into a low cap to front run a narrative might only be risking 1% of their port
A smaller trader sees that and thinks they need to be doing the same
But for them, 5 SOL might be 20-40% of everything they have
It is a completely different game
The whale can be wrong 10 times and still be fine
The smaller trader gets a few wrong and they’re basically starting again
But the biggest difference is not even the amount
It’s how the trade feels
When the money matters more to you, you don’t think the same
You hesitate on good exits
You panic on normal pullbacks
You hold losers because you need them to come back
You cut winners because you’re scared of losing what you finally made
The person with the bigger port can treat it like a calculated bet
The person with the smaller port starts treating it like life and death
You stop trading the narrative and start trading your emotions
That is where everything goes wrong
@ashrobin You’ll only end up learning the hard way if you fud this entry and don’t get in before the next parabolic run
