@kelvmackenzie Why should a peaceful charity stall that has taken donations in exchange for a poppy, for years and years the same time every year, be moved at all. For the protection of who? the police on completion of an risk assessment, or it might be a threat to protesters.

@BBCPolitics I think the real point is being missed here, the number of people who thought the march should not have been allowed, due to the upcoming rememberance events, was completely underestimated by the authorities. The police should have taken the decision to say no, but failed.
