The last 2 times I joined companies with existing teams, I shared this document. It goes through how I work as a person. I try to be upfront about my own limits and biases.
I did not invent such a format, but I don't see it enough IMO.

CTO, a bullshit title?
A member of my team asked about wether going to a business event was part of my job as CTO. You can fit whatever you want behind this title, so here's my take on what it means and how I navigate it.

@Paingout J'ai craqué. C'est absolument génial. Forcément j'ai reçu sans la carte ni les jeux mais apparemment c'était pas une grande perte. Le build-quality est parfait, l'écran aussi. Merci!
The app I work on generates ~30K PDFs a day (rendered from HTML).
Currently it's using a very erratic and resource-heavy puppeteer microservice for that.
There's got to be a better way to do it in 2024, right?
@peer_rich I'm colourblind, these colour-only graduations are always a pain because I'm not black-and-white colourblind, so I see that there is something, but I can't discern it quite enough. It becomes a strain at that moment to navigate/interpret the UI.

@NotionHQ Small issue with your "Save 20%" here, it should be something alongside "Économiser 20%". "Enregistrer" is save in the sense of saving up your progress in a game ;)
Reminder that we have a Ruby Room at the @fosdem on Saturday afternoon!
3pm, see you there for 6 talks from the community, for the community.
Can't wait to see you there! Cheers
biggest WTF in google shutdown history
