Primary School rated GOOD by Ofsted. 51% of pupils in receipt of #freeschoolmeals. 91% live in BN2 4 postcode. Results are some of the best in the city.
51% of children at our school are in receipt of #freeschoolmeals. Children don't just have a right to food they have the right to an education. It changes lives. A PAN of 45 will cost futures and it will cost the tax payer. @BHforFamilies @BrightonHoveCC@hannalytical

Brighton and Hove News » Disadvantaged children struggle more in Brighton and Hove schools than nationally. A responsibility we all share. @hannalytical @auswil @AmandaJG64 @BHGreenCllrs @BrightonHoveCC https://t.co/LvSPKKJIk6
Be in no doubt how hard and how long parents and carers will fight, for their children, particularly those with #SEND, to receive the support they need to access and succeed in mainstream education! Absolutely inspiring! ✊✊🏾@hannalytical@Cardenthriving@lloyd_rm@CarolineLucas
1/3 Thank you @lloyd_rm for your supporting all of our schools and confirming that the labour group has asked for a deferal while other solutions can be explored! This will have a lasting impact on Brighton and divide our city.
2/3 The concerns are that Brighton children will be divided by the quality and choice of education they receive. This will impact life outcomes not just in education. The concerns are #safeguarding#outcomes#SENDprovsion#staffworkload.
Another amazing @CardenPrimary consultation this evening.Parents have spent so much time and energy on this. @MayorOfficeBHCC must allow each school with a petition to have it’s full 15 minutes discussion at full council tomorrow. #democracy@Stand4Bevendean
@MayorOfficeBHCC Disappointed to hear that 3 individual petitions for 3 individual schools, who are having their admission numbers cut, are not being given their full 15 minute allocation. If councillors are deciding on these schools individually this seems unfair. #democracy 😶
4/4 @RudyardSchool is also part of the consultation and has a staggering 38% of children on the SEND register. What will be the impact on our vulnerable children and the financial cost. @BrightonHoveCC has already over spent £400,000 on SEND provision. Will PAN reduction help?
1/4 @AmazeSussex@PaCCBrighton Have your say. We need experts on the impact this will have on children with SEND to complete this consultation. 👇👇👇👇

3/4 @CardenPrimary@Cardenthriving This school is also part of the consultation and again has a specialist speech and language centre. Bevendean and Carden are both classed as special schools. They are also both shining examples of success.
We hope that those groups supporting our children with SEND are aware of the council's proposals to reduce PAN? Schools being targeted have the highest proportion of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and have SEND. @AmazeSussex@PaCCBrighton
Children always say it how it is! “Mixed year classes will improve learning.” Said no teacher ever. Is there any harm in asking council officers to propose alternatives? @BHGreenCllrs @hannalytical @AmandaJG64 @lloyd_rm @CarolineLucas
Well done to everyone who has worked hard to make sure that voices are heard at full council this Thursday 16th December 16:30pm! @brightonargus@BHGreenCllrs https://t.co/5xeE0IkuKC
