I’ve actually never seen Harry Potter and after watching the below and then seeing the clip in the thread I am just kind of stunned. You know when you giggle but it’s really more fear than joy?
🎶On the 6th day of xmas @CardenPrimary gave to the community
🙋🏿🙋🏽♂️🙋🏻♀️more pupils joining each year as families move to the Hollingbury & Patcham area🎶
Pupil numbers are consistently higher than @BrightonHoveCC initial admissions figures.

4/4 @RudyardSchool is also part of the consultation and has a staggering 38% of children on the SEND register. What will be the impact on our vulnerable children and the financial cost. @BrightonHoveCC has already over spent £400,000 on SEND provision. Will PAN reduction help?
3/4 @CardenPrimary@Cardenthriving This school is also part of the consultation and again has a specialist speech and language centre. Bevendean and Carden are both classed as special schools. They are also both shining examples of success.
1/4 @AmazeSussex@PaCCBrighton Have your say. We need experts on the impact this will have on children with SEND to complete this consultation. 👇👇👇👇

We hope that those groups supporting our children with SEND are aware of the council's proposals to reduce PAN? Schools being targeted have the highest proportion of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and have SEND. @AmazeSussex@PaCCBrighton
Children always say it how it is! “Mixed year classes will improve learning.” Said no teacher ever. Is there any harm in asking council officers to propose alternatives? @BHGreenCllrs @hannalytical @AmandaJG64 @lloyd_rm @CarolineLucas

(If @BrightonHoveCC cut our funding & intake now, it sends a message that undermines all our amazing growth & progress.)
Schools in deprived areas of Brighton will be forced to adopt mixed in year classes. Our school has the highest number of children eligible for #freeschoolmeals 51% have #specialeducationalneeds 28% or who have a registered #disability. Greens 💚 it's not too late to stop this.
What percentage of children are eligible for #freeschoolmeals nationally? Bevendean has the highest percentage of disadvantaged pupils in the whole of Brighton at 51%. Soon they will be asked to achieve in full classes of 30, mixed with other year groups.
