Yesterday, I stood proudly beside my darling wife, Dr Sekinah Bola-Oyebamiji, at her swearing-in ceremony as President of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN), Osun State chapter. Beyond the joy of the moment, the gathering of dedicated medical professionals once again reinforced my belief that healthcare must be treated as a top priority in the development agenda of our state.
What I saw and heard further confirmed the reality that Osun’s health sector requires urgent, purposeful and total revitalisation. Our primary, secondary and tertiary health facilities deserve focused attention, modern infrastructure and adequate manpower so that quality healthcare becomes accessible to every citizen, regardless of location or status. This is not optional; it is a responsibility.
If given the mandate to serve as Governor, I am fully prepared to declare a comprehensive overhaul of the health sector, alongside strategic interventions in education, infrastructure, agriculture, commerce and job creation. A healthy population is the foundation of a productive and prosperous Osun, and this conviction will guide my leadership.
I am deeply proud of Dr Sekinah’s long-standing commitment to women’s health and her vision to expand advocacy and quality healthcare delivery for women and children. Her emergence at the helm of MWAN in Osun is a reminder that with the right leadership, excellence and compassion can drive meaningful change. That same spirit of service, reform and results is what I am determined to bring to the governance of Osun State.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has called for the cancellation of the ongoing by-election for Shanono-Bagwai constituency and the rerun election in Ghari constituency of Kano State.
My Administration Committed to Safety Through Investment in Infrastructure- @officialABAT
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said his administration will continue to prioritize the safety of Nigerians through investment in modern infrastructure that would stand the test of time.
Today, we honour the beauty, promise, and potential of every Nigerian child.
As we celebrate, let’s renew our commitment to giving our children the tools they need—education, protection, and love—to build a better future.
You are the reason we strive for a greater Nigeria. Keep dreaming. The future is yours.
Earlier today, my team and i paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, where we discussed areas of collaboration.
Let me take the time to educate you once and for all.
Senator Natasha broke Senate rules and procedures on Wednesday 26th of February, 2025.
The committee met on Wednesday the 5th of March, 2025 and resolved to suspend her for her actions a week before.
While she made her allegations of sexual harassment public on Monday 3rd of March, 2025, she only submitted a petition to the Senate on the matter on Thursday, 6th of March, 2025.
She was invited to the committee hearing on the 5th of March, 2025 but she opted not to appear.
Her petition was received and the committee has 4 weeks to investigate the matter.
I hope this helps.
