@OTD_in_WWE My middle-school self & friends thought it would be cool if they kept the platform moving during a match, maybe even faster!
But if I was older, I might’ve suggested the same thing about 20 Minute Workout.
@JimValley@realkevinkelly Wrestling needed more heel Denny Brown. He and Cliff Anderson made a great bully team. Locking Candieman in the trunk of his own hatchback was gold.
@MonsoonClassic I liked this at the time, and wished there was more of it. A “real” reason to follow up and make a match.
Also, Frankie Lancaster was a really good hand who deserved a few wins, IMO.
Hi! Still here on the, uh, X, mainly for wrestling chatter these days. Much more to see and share on Instas…

I just remembered, @TheJimCornette and @GreatBrianLast, among wrestling people being shot into space, former jr heavyweight champion Mike Davis has everyone beat by about 29 years.

Hey @TheJimCornette, I knew the tip you gave international customers re: shipping sounded familiar. This is from the 1902 #Sears catalog. Tell them when the site returns, “anyone can get up a club.”
Similar to my guess why an inverted atomic drop is legal: I just picked you up. You’re the one who hit my stationary knee coming down. Just spitballing here. I suppose it was convenient for Watts if he didn’t want off the top to be the finish for every match, just some.
.@Mike504Saints@GreatBrianLast: may’ve missed the resolution, but I have a guess at MSW off the top calls. 1 is launching oneself directly onto opponent (headbutt/shoulderblock). The other is flying in the air (moonsault/crossbody) and the opponent just happens to be in the way.
Fortunately that was just an obsolete Beta camera that Shane used on #WWERaw
Glad the director didn’t switch to it, as it was never connected anyway. 😄
FBF to 1999/2000, me (talking with my hands) to "The Chokester" Tom Motley LIVE on another edition of The Chokehold Radio Show on WVOJ AM 970! Our producer, AJ Styles, in the booth! Miss doing these old shows, miss the engagement with the callers we had. Good times!
