Grateful to the Moms Demand Action volunteers who knocked doors and made calls for us.
Proud to be a Gun Sense Candidate and one of just 10 statewide endorsed by Everytown Action Fund.
Thank you for fighting with us for safer communities.
Republicans sent a mailer twisting my words—taking a public safety quote out of context and portraying it as support for taxes.
Check the sources. Don’t let fear replace an honest campaign.
Our community deserves the truth.
Heading back to college? Add one more thing to your checklist: request your absentee ballot.
If you’ll be away on Election Day, make your voting plan now. It only takes a few minutes.
Your voice matters. Make sure it’s counted.
During National Immunization Awareness Month, we recognize the healthcare professionals keeping families informed and protected.
As preventable diseases like measles return, we need leadership that follows science, supports healthcare workers, & puts public health over politics.
The threatened end of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians—and the uncertainty facing Salvadorans and other TPS recipients—is not an abstract immigration debate. It affects families who have lived, worked, and built their lives on Long Island, and the patients, seniors, people with disabilities, and others who rely on their work, skills, and care every day.
Haitian and Salvadoran healthcare, home-care, and other workers are essential members of our communities. Forcing people from their jobs and separating families would be cruel, destabilizing, and harmful to an already strained healthcare system.

It was VERY IRRESPONSIBLE for Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, to fly his less-safe and badly painted “Air Fraud One” to Turkey while we are at WAR — a war he started! When things got dangerous, the Secret Service told him to get back on the REAL Air Force One (the Classic, Beautiful, and FAR SUPERIOR plane) because his jumbo jet from Qatar was not good enough or remotely secure. VERY BAD LOOK FOR THE “LEADER” OF THE FREE WORLD! I do not care for Dozy, he is a very Nasty Man who treats the People of California and Working Americans badly. But even I, his strongest critic, understand that the President should not put our entire Country at RISK because he likes a fancy plane. A REAL LEADER chooses PERFORMANCE over LOOKS. DISQUALIFYING! — Governor Gavin C. Newsom
Four years after Roe was overturned, women are dying because politicians banned abortion.
This is the reality of losing reproductive freedom: delayed care, denied care, and lives put at risk.
Abortion care is health care. Reproductive care saves lives.
I will never stop fighting to protect access, defend our rights, and keep politicians out of our most personal medical decisions.

*BIG NEWS*
I am excited to report that we now have an office at 166-168 Main Street. This will be my campaign’s primary office space and will be shared by the NY Dems and every member of our Democratic slate.
This Saturday morning at 10 am we are launching our first canvass out of the space, and we would really like to see A LOT of our friends and supporters there! In addition to me, @RoryLancman , and Sean McCarthy m, both @TomDiNapoli and @Tom_Suozzi will be there to tell us about their primaries and the importance of getting Democrats out to vote on June 23rd!
Look out for an “official” office opening to follow.

Excited to share our new campaign logo — and the message at the heart of this campaign: Fighting For Us All
Because that is exactly what this campaign is about. Fighting for working families, children, seniors, and veterans. Fighting for strong public schools. Fighting for safe and welcoming communities, fundamental freedoms, clean air and water, and real representation for every resident of our district.
I’m running to be a voice for all of us — to listen, to show up, and to deliver for the communities we call home.
SNAP usage rising on Long Island should stop us in our tracks.
This is what the affordability crisis looks like in real life: families working hard, doing everything right, and still struggling to put food on the table.
No one should have to choose between food, utilities, child care, medical expenses, or keeping up with rent or the mortgage. We need leadership focused on lowering everyday costs, protecting food assistance, and making Long Island livable for the families who built it.

Proud to receive the endorsement of Equality New York PAC.
EQNY works to advance equality, equity, and justice for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers, and I am honored to have their support in this campaign.
I believe every person deserves to live openly, safely, and with dignity. In Albany, I will always stand up for equal rights, inclusive communities, and policies that protect and uplift LGBTQ+ New Yorkers.
Today’s Supreme Court ruling gutting Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act is a dangerous attack on democracy. It will open the door to blatant gerrymandering that is not only wrong and discriminatory in spirit, but further destroys what little trust people have left in government. This is legalizing cheating.
There is no doubt that our democratic rights and values are gravely threatened. The best way to defend them is by mobilizing to get out the vote this November.
I was so glad to attend a meet and greet for Sean McCarthy and am so grateful to Stan and Nora for opening their home to bring people together around this important race.
Supporting strong Democratic candidates up and down the ticket matters, and I am proud to support Sean for Town of North Hempstead Supervisor. I know Sean personally, I know his commitment to this community, and I feel the momentum building behind his candidacy every time neighbors come together like this.
Earth Day is a reminder that protecting our environment cannot wait.
Long Island deserves clean water, clean air, safer infrastructure, and leaders who treat climate action like the urgent priority it is. I’ve spent years advocating for our environment because this is about our health, our safety, and our future.
Let’s choose action, accountability, and a healthier planet for the next generation. #EarthDay

I am proud to be endorsed by Eleanor’s Legacy.
For 25 years, Eleanor’s Legacy has worked to build a strong pipeline of pro-choice Democratic women leaders across New York, and I am honored to have their support as part of this important moment for our state.
This election will help shape the future of New York. I’m running to protect our democracy, stand up for our communities, and fight for a more affordable, equitable future for Long Island families.
Thank you to Eleanor’s Legacy for your confidence in our campaign and in the work we are building together.
