@nocommentnumb DCF has a lot of hands in the show rn but more importantly they’re involved in a lot of genuinely important story bits—Okada, Fletcher, Knight looming in the possible world title picture while being TNT champ.
And Jericho ain’t retiring soon. Idk where Danny has a spot
@dnpmanuscript@nocommentnumb Everyone in the family besides them don’t get consistent tv time either, I’d argue
Danny could get the ball but I don’t think he’s hurting for access to tv time right now, considering the current landscape
@dolphins2026@wrestlemovement I ain’t finna be mad at her not knowing who people are that retired before she was even born— I don’t need to be able to reference my top 5 Verne Gagne matches to say I love wrestling. That said, this should’ve seen some editing.
Her spelling SGT was pretty hilarious though
@5after12@itzEsmil@Fightful It doesn’t apply *as much*. It’s a balance with wrestling— anything too realistic either doesn’t work or gets somebody hurt, but just not keeping it somewhat grounded and going full “logic doesn’t work here” can kill suspension of disbelief. There’s gotta be both.
@5after12@itzEsmil@Fightful I mean…punches finish fights in real life, I don’t think it’s an issue to have it as a finisher in a world where people get slept by strikes all the time. More a matter of the setup to it vs. the move itself.
@ShadBoogie@WrestleTalk_TV I mean, they ran two versions of it on both sets of programming. AAA I think got the better version of it though and the fans took to it really well and that elevates anything. Meanwhile it just didn’t have the same effect on main roster. Two different markets.
@RyanW_CFC@EliteClubS0B A lot of things in wrestling have risen to greatness off of full commitment and a lil bit of luck. Bruh took the opportunity, went all in and not only embraced the gimmick but the culture that it initially appropriated. Now he’s turned it into something else for the better.
@CincySportsMark@BigDookiana@BookItGabe It’s a bunch of people who backyard that ain’t touching anywhere near where Punk did. Time spent wrestling poorly doesn’t equal good experience. You can start somewhere and realize you need more training.
