@anon_opin maintenance should be spelled maintainence because when you do maintenance you are maintaining something.

[Stanley Hubble 🇮🇪 @stanleycaree]

@anon_opin Laural & Hardy should be on the curriculum of every school in the country. 1 hour every Friday morning. No arguments!

@DaveTodayFM Just got home from work and my wife ran towards me and ripped off all her clothes. At that point my wife flashed before my eyes.

@anon_opin people ( especially sportspeople) who shake hands using the upward grasp and thumb method rather than the traditional palm to palm method, need to be taken out and shot. No debate.

@TheRugbyPaper Owen Farrell is the most overrated player in the history of the game.

@Chrisevs16 @FXMC1957 Visited earlier this year. Very galling to see where 000s of men ( and boys) were slaughtered in killing fields and senselessly and continuously sent into battle with v little chance to survive. Unbelievable stupidity “ leadership “. I believe strongly class led.

@claycon @OldEngland1066 Mine too - I recall Spunky the Spider for some reason - should have been a Viz character.

@pbcarter7 @sknox7 @wat_thee_deuce_ Aah! The English trying to impose nationalism on others again. Imperialism alive and well!

[Stanley Hubble 🇮🇪 @stanleycaree]

@Nigelrefowens @skysportnz 2/2 - few weeks later reffed this team again. Player made same call but I told him to wait whilst I told the opposition he wasn’t going for goal. They then had a defence and player had to kick for touch - wasn’t pleased but I was!

[Stanley Hubble 🇮🇪 @stanleycaree]

@Nigelrefowens @skysportnz As a ref, player pointed at the posts and said to me “I’m not going for goal” . Opposition seeing him point at the posts turned their backs , he tapped the ball to himself and scored unopposed in the corner. I wasn’t happyas didn’t feel was in the spirit of the game 1/2
