#VoteConservative Thank goodness I’ve finally got some real help on how to make my 3.1% pension increase go further from the government.
Thank you George.

@MichaelRosenYes Being born during the war, it did puzzle me but my parents and relatives (working class) explained he was a man of war not peace and they wanted a better life (welfare state, housing) after living in poverty. It was those at home who voted him out. A class society.
@BAFTA@MichaelRosenYes
Conservatives propose cutting ‘dead end courses’ ‘75% of creative courses don’t pay back their student loans’
‘Higher education will be based on financial return.’
Then I watched the BAFTA awards…
@peterjukes The only redeeming fact about this whole terrible business is, it shows how different we are from the corrupt USA where the rich and powerful are escaping justice.
It is their horror yet we are bringing our culprits to account.
Ian Dale on Newsnight telling it like it was when journalists and commentators said ‘Madelson was a clever appointment’ at the time, something everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten. #Newsnight#IanDale
@MichaelRosenYes I remember watching Newsnight when Mandelson’s appointment was described as a ‘clever political move’, thank goodness Mr Saville never used a computer nor sent e-mails, just appeared in a few dodgy photos.
@michaelwhite I seem to remember when he was appointed many commentators said it was a ‘clever move’, but all I can say it’s a good job Jimmy Saville never used a computer nor sent e-mails. #guiltbyassociation
@redrumlisa There was a time when cities, towns and villages were designed for people not cars. And if there’s nothing near you then why did you move there? We bought our house because it was near everything, our choice, no control just extra cost if I want to drive into overcrowded cities.
@RichardWellings Fifteen minute cities are about planning, not ‘control’, now being widely accepted across the ‘civilised world’ but not for those who see conspiracies round every corner, oh dear, more click bait for the hard of thinking!
@jdpoc Been driving auto for over forty years, one foot only, people still think you are not a ‘real driver’, they are very sophisticated now, hold on hill starts automatic, gives you 30% more time to concentrate on the road rather than ‘what gear?’
@wesstreeting
Dear Mr Streeting, we have an ongoing urgent disgraceful situation in Castle Point, affecting 12500 local patients, can you kick someone’s backside and get this sorted…
@KirstieMAllsopp@RichieRobEth Respectfully, sadly missing from this is perhaps that writers, such as Mr R, need social contact, riding in taxis, mixing with people as part of their inspiration and common touch? Listen to Garrison Keillor travelling with the crowd.
