To reduce your risk of getting a #cancer diagnosis and or dying from the disease, do the following:
1. Don't smoke or use any type of tobacco. If you do, quitting is possible, with professional help if needed. Don't use e-cigarettes either, as they lead to tobacco use.
On the issue of prohibiting individuals with dual+ citizenships from being ministers in Uganda, the law should be amended to exempt East African citizens. That should accelerate our political integration.
#UnpopularOpinion: The government didn't say medical interns shouldn't be paid. It said it's not their responsibility. Interns still must complete internship to graduate. The real consequence? Medical education is now only for the wealthy.
@AKasingye@TayariSecurity Well done Afande. As per the guidance we have received from authorities so far, Ebola is not spread through breathing. I suggest that Tayari Security invests in disinfectant for hand hygiene instead.
@TheMutaD you are equating not paying interns to interns not working in hospitals. What is likely to happen is that rich parents will pay for their offspring to do internship and the poor ones will nolonger afford medicine. People are not going to die. Poor people can't be doctors anymore.
@TonyNatif@ReachDrMuganga I do not think this details matter at all. There is a constitution. Yes, it is just ink on paper. Yes. It can be changed tomorrow. But it says one with many citizenships shouldn't be minister. Unless the argument is about that statement has a hidden meaning, it is futile.
@YusufSerunkuma To be a minister is a political position (not a technical one). If the suggested names can go to their constituents and convince them to send them to parliament, they would have my support to be appointed ministers. No ministry lacks technical expertise!
@TheMutaD Kira, despite that value, still looks like a slum. Poor waste management, dusty roads, noise pollution, etc. Either, urban LGs are incompetent or their set up is not fit for purpose.
@nwscug no water in Buwate for 3 days and counting. What is going on? At the very least, we deserve an explanation.
We are now a middle-income country, and we need to act like it!
