Shame on CNBC, they think that Boeing hit the high- try 240 for the real target. My mistak as well, our prremature trimming was a mistake that we regret. Nonetheless, we'll keep our 2/3 position at with only adds if & when necessary,
@GilmanHill At 78 we have no need to fake anything. For 40+years stocks have been my livelihood, with bond yields now it hasn't been worth it although we once lived on double digit yields like my fav 14% WPSS, all gone now.
Checked the out of favor names like DOW for its 10%; div'd and RIO the World's largest metals company. Whenever we can find such value...the Devil made me do it ! Another example of how to use excess cash.
Even after its 200 point drop, it seems UNH buyers have disappeared. We have no love for this company but their current valuation should be good enuf for a trade. UNH has been no help for the Dow 30, but shouldn't it be good for 75-100 points? Yet or not yet?
Textron was good to us, thank you but we did take our profit at 75 for our ten points. TXT is down to our watch list only, but we'll keep GD, HII & half of our BA now, as we wish BA hadn't shot up so quick, will it see 240 this year? Somehow we're back to 35% cash again...
UBER who? we booked all profits as it fell jus'short of our Top 10 list anyway. Will those profits be used for MRVL or PANW adds? With Boeing at 212, now what to do, but wait for pullbacks to replace those profits we don't want to book yet?
@lisaabramowicz1@RenMacLLC How so? when we keep hearing about shortages that seems abit backwards. We sold all of our properties, including cars & condos, so we'll carry everything on our back if & when we move again.
We still remain fully invested in Boeing, as we were overweight before. at 209 we still have substantial upside even with another pullback. We'll set enough cash to double down if needed again with our UNH money anytime.
