@richardrohlin@smuplayer@NotJonMollison We should game together in DFW! Here are some sample wargames I've run (mostly skirmish, mostly rules like Dragon Rampant or One Page Rules). @smuplayer and I are buds. https://t.co/KFqYgwjkeW

🚀 Captain’s Log Hack Alert!
We came up with a slick house rule for solo Star Trek games using the Yes/No Probability Matrix in Captain’s Log by Modiphius. 🖖✨
Use it like a Clock in PbtA games! 🕰️

So the next scene we rolled against 'Somewhat Improbable', and the next scene we rolled against '50/50' until a scene happened where someone's serum finally failed (at a most inconvenient moment of course). I will definitely be using this rule again.
So in our game we had an injected serum that made our bodies mimic the appearance of the local alien race. When we first beamed down, we deemed it was 'Improbable' that the serum would fail for one of our party. Each subsequent scene the clock ticks down (moving the arrow up).
Alien race from the first adventure of our TOS era Taurus Reach campaign using the Star Trek Adventures Captain’s Log Solo RPG from Modiphius, played cooperatively with five players and no GM. Anyone recognize the inspiration?

@mikemearls@KevinLamb74 Back in the D&D Next days I was excited about the prospect of a 1-10 level only game. I was bummed when the later design didn't keep the polyhedral dice as skill levels mechanic (roll a d4 instead of a +2 skill).
I ordered the dice individually to make the dice set in that picture but since have discovered Chessex has pre-built color coded sets! https://t.co/hUulEjAEmx
Bought some color coded Chessex dice to use in my Paragon RPG games. Colors will help to teach first-time RPG players since I can say things like 'roll a d8 for your Domain die -- that's a green one.'
