I’ve been trying to get clear on what to FOCUS on…

Been listening to @thedankoe and his method:
- 1 hour of focus/day on my craft.
- create a niche of one
- build your skills

His buddy @iamjustincscott makes it make sense:
- purpose driven
- create from passion
- connecting in the neo-renaissance

I was talking to some people and they were unaware of Personal Branding.

There is an immense opportunity at our fingertips right now

Take advantage of it.

I’ve always contemplated on the HOW to become a motivational speaker, and seeing how their minds work takes the how out of it and makes me excited for the future.

These guys are at the cutting edge of online business right now.

They are able to Transcend the “business” into what you would do anyways.

I hated the word business, until now.

I’ve always written poetry to help myself in a therapeutic way, not realizing others can benefit from it…

Going to give it my ALL in this online world to connect with you people on a deeper level. Hopefully to bring other peoples potential to the surface.

Outside of the personal development space that can feel like a vacuum at times, when you relate with others who are unaware and tell them about these opportunities - we can help the wake up the collective consciousness.

With more people becoming aware, it means you can learn from anyone.

We all have that one thing we would do no matter what, it’s just a matter of teaching others how to spark that inside themself, so they can feel into their inner wealth.

This goes beyond business and profit, yet that ability is an exciting byproduct of truly helping others…

Just want to let you all know I appreciate the purpose driven creators I’ve connected with.

I’ve been on twitter just a few months but it has opened my eyes to the possibilities.

Excited to put myself out there and be blessed by the internet and its opportunities!

Thanks people, and hopefully my enthusiasm can rub off on some of you to go out there and speak your truth!

Others may resonate with Your Story in a way that can change their lives.

Dan and Justin are not above us, they are just crystal clear on cracking the digital code to make it work, after years of practice.

Some of you reading this may be on that path as well- just don’t give up.

I’m excited for what the next 5 years has in store for me. If you asked me 5 years ago I’d have this wisdom and life I live now, I’d think you were crazy.

Keep your mind open and willing to learn from the greats of this digital age.

Intense few days at UCLA.
The protest ended with cops sweeping the encampment at 2:30AM…
Around 200 arrests were made.
I’m not one to be political but the use of force by LAPD police last night was extreme

Those who have overcome the most extreme adversity become wise and calm

One can use the pain of an experience to catapult them into newfound purpose to help others so they don’t have to suffer like they did before

I’ve done all of these in different forms but not to the level I wish to

I’ve
- performed poetry at venues,
- Spoken at motivational events
- And been in heavy metal bands

Yet it takes the next level of devotion to commit to these unconventional trajectories

Today I dropped off 4 resumes in Beverly Hills

Then I saw a shop that looked closed with boxes everywhere

Saw a lady inside, knocked on the window and asked if they were hiring

I had an interview on the spot

She said they need a barista when it opens next week and I can come in to see how my work flow is - look out for a coffee master on the famous Rodeo Drive!

In person hustling is still a thing

Work location also matters to me…

People say it doesn’t matter where u work, but they haven’t experienced this level of high energy and actual wealth.

I’m a pretty humble guy but it makes me inspired to see people drive $500,000 cars around like it’s a casual day

Have you ever seen someone drink 2 shots worth 10k?

I have.

Yet I’ve also seen someone tip $4,000 which I got a part of.

The money comes around and goes around

But the ability to walk down Rodeo Drive and know you could literally have anything you want is a different kind of feeling.

I went into Gucci today for my first time and saw a jacket for $3,781

A lot of people I know would scoff and say pfffft that’s ridiculous, who would pay that much - only stupid, rich or entitled people

Then there’s the person in the store ready to buy it

The people that buy the item may be entitled, but they also may have worked hard to be where their at and the ability to get that item for themselves may have a deeper meaning.

Maybe it’s their first big purchase

Maybe their really into fashion designing

Maybe their getting something symbolic for a stage of their life

Maybe they lost their favorite jacket (I love me a nice jacket)

Wealthy peoples psychology fascinates me and makes me want to get on their level

Instead of scoff at rich people, I try and understand them

Like why are they acting so entitled, why are they wanting attention
Or
Why are they really down to earth, why are they trying to be incognito?

Making coffee for people has served me well in understanding social dynamics, led me to discover amazing things

All through writing.

I used to write down interactions I had and nerd out trying to understand the psychology behind people.

Call me weird but it helped.

How many people realistically sit down and think about a conversation they had and think, what could I have said here, or what would I say in this situation if I felt or sounded more confident, courageous and/or masculine?

This further led me to embody an understanding of myself and people that gifted me in many ways.

Shifting my energy and tuning into others behaviors, I opened my mind to the opportunities that were presented to me.

When I was working at Starbucks, I had an ankle bracelet.

Yet I didn’t let my situation define me.

I strived to connect with people no matter how angry they seemed without their coffee in the morning.

Even some regulars who were always in a weird mood, I tried to show them every day they came in how to see the world with a different perspective.

Connection, empathy and compassion are the traits of a great barista.

It goes far beyond the cup of coffee.

There is a point where people all relate - even the wealthiest snobbier customers I’ve dealt with all have a human essence, when your able to knock their guard or ego down, you can relate with them on a human level, then their true character of who they are is revealed.

Some of my coworkers used to say, how do u get along with them - and I always used to say, I pushed past their bxtch shield

I’m not only referring to rich people, but anyone

Don’t judge people only by how you perceive them to be

They may think they are presenting themselves in a whole other way, yet that’s just what their used to

Somehow I went on this tangent thinking about my job applications today

Then I realized I have 6 years of barista experience

And I actually loved my coffee making jobs

From Starbucks, I eventually made coffee for celebrities.

I was gifted with amazing opportunities that changed my life, more stories to come
