Tonight, the Board of Trustees passed a motion requiring mask use in all OCDSB buildings. Staff are developing an implementation plan and will provide additional clarification shortly.
Awww…. @fordnation’s media team is in a frenzy online.
Someone is clearly feeling the heat.
It turns out parents don’t like watching their kids suffer as resources are shuffled to expensive private schools.
Who knew?
(Everyone but Ford and his sycophants)

EAs are not allowed to supervise a classroom full of students. Which is understandable because we didn’t go to school to be teachers. But it’s ok to do an all call for parents to fill in for teachers when they are sick?? What!?!🙄🤔 @OPSEU2100
I’ve been asking since September, are we just all supposed to ignore the whole 1000+ kids eating lunch with friends on hallway floors every day because even pre-covid a cafeteria could only hold a few hundred? No one has ever acknowledged to me that lunchtime exists. #OntEd (1/2)
UPDATE: As per today's announcement by the Ministry, we will be moving to online/virtual learning from January 5-14, 2022. Please email the school at [email protected] if you require a device. Provide your full name and student number. Thank you.
BREAKING Jan 2: Educators are panicking! Many are terrified. Who will stand up for them? Nurses are exhausted, also afraid. Who will stand with them? I hope we all answer: we will
I mean, not to brag or anything, but @regionofpeel clearly has the coolest Chief Medical Officer of Health, and @CityBrampton legit has our own Batman!
Again, where are the mental health advocates who insisted that all kids needed was for schools to be open?
They’re open now. That doesn’t mean that everything is fine. #OntEd#NoHybridNo150

Doug Ford just cut $500 million from our school budgets for this year.
We are 2 months into another pandemic year of learning and his response is to cut funding while our kids sit in classrooms.
Shameful.
