You can leave the routine tasks to AI and keep the most interesting part for yourself! To open the assistant menu, click the magic wand icon in the top panel of the project. If needed, you can disable AI in the app settings.
The first mistake in screenplay formatting is using the wrong template. Set the correct one, and STARC will handle the rest for you!
💡 For more detailed template customization, tap the three dots at the end of the selection row
Important announcement: access to the STARC cloud is now available only for versions 0.8.1 and newer.
If your app version is outdated, please update now and continue working.

Happy 8th March to all the women in the Story Architect community! 🤍
In honor of International Women’s Day, here are five screenwriting books written by women that every storyteller should know — from character arcs to story structure.
We’d like to remind you about the two main ways to move your project from one device to another ➡️
Please note: this type of project transfer is intended specifically for continuing work on the project — by you or your co-author. If you want a script that’s easy to read and locked from editing, it’s better to export the document in common text formats.
You can read more about transferring projects between a PC and a phone in the article: https://t.co/8i2vQl7Zbg
"I keep writing and writing, but the page just won’t end"
If that sounds like you, then page numbering in STARC is probably turned off. We’ve brought you a quick cheat sheet on how to regain control over the length of your text!
There are fewer and fewer blank spots on our map 🌏
By 2026, Story Architect is used in 168 countries worldwide! We’re happy to support screenwriters and writers all around the globe 🐾
