Sometimes getting Election Day off is hard. But early voting exists. Please check your local early voting location here: https://t.co/kgRDHCsJSl

Give them a call and see when they’re open and then go and vote!! They usually have extended hours and are sometimes open on weekends.

Vivek Ramaswamy’s first public appearance today didn’t go well:

@darling_shrike Those people confuse me so much because I too have works that I’m sensitive about and I don’t want people accessing without my knowledge… which is why I don’t post them to the internet. It’s such a simple concept

[Rys @stardarkskies]

A lot of people who are “leftists” or “liberals” are actually straight up conservatives, they just happen to be women, coloured, or lgbt (not queer)

[tambi @t4mb1]

a lot of the people on here calling themselves leftists are just centrists who happen to be lgbtq

@YallNeverListen I have a lot of thoughts on media analysis, media literacy, and how poorly people’s actions demonstrate their stated beliefs.

People can do what they want but it makes me giggle when they try to justify omegaverse fanfic as any type of critical analysis of systemic misogyny. You know you’re lying. I know you’re lying. Everyone knows that’s not what 98% of these stories are. Let’s stop lying.

the way some of y'all write omegaverse makes me understand why wives in the 50s killed themselves

[Rys @stardarkskies]

@midnightrose5 I have read exactly two decent ones that actually explore it and I liked both because they didn’t just write omega discrimination as a replacement for misogyny, they built an actual world that explored how women would be affected by misogyny within this system alongside the abo.

[Rys @stardarkskies]

@ferigiru I think people are not self conscious enough about their lack of participation in other aspects of life and too self conscious of meaningless criticism.

[plazy ☾*✲⋆. @plazynoodles]

its so absurd seeing fandom people talk about "censorship" and ao3 the same day my best friend tells me about a poet that was killed and tortured by a government for being a dissident

They don't want their kids to be socialized. They want their kids to be their best friend, therapist, roommate and caregiver.

Even worse, western countries pretend moral enlightenment, as if they all don’t currently still have colonies and participate in human trafficking, the slave trade, and drug running. Every single one of them. France, The US, UK, Canada, Belgium, etc. all those hands are bloody.

Daycare is not forever, and staying home during your prime career building years is a massive cost that is not easily, if ever, regained.

These pauses are killing me, I have to leave in less than an hour and I wanted to see at least one full series live today. Rito fix your damn game

They don’t think they’re poor because they don’t know about their finances (that’s a man’s job) or they’re delusional (we had to save for months to afford a simple trip within the state but fuck the poors on food stamps)

[Your OG 🐩 @LRNROSE]

most of the #trad wives on here are dangerously poor. thts the part they are omitting from the conversation and the part people would understand but im not convinced you NEVER want a break from your kids. #cutitout

i'm kinda really tired of people going "war is too expensive on the average american! that's why we don't want it!" and not "war is bad because our taxes go to aiding the genocide of alive human beings with dreams and loved ones just like us!"
