@SituationJ0001 I mean I certainly saw it as a desperately needed airing of old festering wounds. Like these things had to be discussed and experienced in order for them to truly go into the past, so they could make something new. It felt cathartic and oddly sweet, not really painful.

@lenaskzorel Rumi dismissed her sword when talking to jinu. The thing she summoned after was just him, not them both. be a really weird message, that combining them makes a whole soul when rumi was always enough on her own. But he was a regular guy, the weapons are souls, and he gave her his.

@lenaskzorel Good news, she still has it. They didn't combine. That was just jinu's soul. All the weapons and early clothes have the wave/floral motif. Rumi has constellations because her soul is different. Movie wouldn't imply jinu's soul made her complete/same. It's just him. 2 weapons.

@quorniya @denimcatfish I say it as someone who fell victim at a vulnerable time. I also like them. That's why they're dangerous and I have to avoid them. Friends have asked if I play genshin and I just know I can't be trusted so I have to avoid it even though it looks fun.

@quorniya @denimcatfish Predatory. The word you're looking for is predatory. Problematic is a nothing word puriteens throw around when they don't like something and want to feel right about it. Gacha takes advantage of dopamine issues in vulnerable people. That's not problematic, it's deliberate.
