When "Rescuing" A Dog becomes a HEARTLESS Oxymoron.

At 1️⃣4️⃣ mo, MAPLE #A386996 lost EVERYTHING, simply because she was picked up as a STRAY by #CorpusChristiACS.

Instead of COMFORTING her, they SPAYED her while she was pregnant, KILLING her puppies.❤️‍🩹

It was a MONSTROUS act, & according to what I read, they had to increase her 💊 to help her COPE with the UNNECESSARY GRIEF.

What's the point of being a Shelter ⁉️

When you look at her sad, little face, please remember that this sweet 🐕 has known nothing but pain😥 from BIRTH.

Can someone grant her some MERCY today? She's LOCKED🔑 in a place that has only brought her agony.

This sweetie came into the Shelter as a stray on 7/6/26 with some knotted, matted fur💔 She is a bit timid, but allowed me to easily leash her and walk her to the yard with no issues and once I sat on the bench for a few minutes, she would approach me for some affection❣️ I’m sure she will blossom once she is out of the shelter✨♥️”

💔 Sweet Splinter and her newborn puppies need help.
Splinter gave birth to her babies at animal control and, a week later, she is still there raising them in a kennel.
She only has four tiny puppies, and she is the sweetest mama you could ever meet. All she wants is a safe, quiet place to care for her babies.
I'm desperately hoping a rescue can step up before these puppies become sick from the shelter environment. If a rescue can help, we need a foster for this little family.
This would be a very easy foster. Mama does all the work. She just needs a clean, safe place, fresh food and water, and someone willing to give her family a chance.
