I never criticize without a compliment whether it's real life or about a game. No one sets out to make a "bad game." There are positives in even the "worst" games.
What video game did you play as a kid, and LOVE, but no one else remembers?
For me, Pandemonium 2 was super creative and did not get the love it deserves.
The playlist for the #ttrpg of #warhammer40k#RogueTrader that I am running is available here: https://t.co/A3pBnr1Yg1 and Thank You @OwlcatGames for the assets in the press pack. Profiles for each player and myself will be coming soon!
@NoMansSky Hey Sean, is there a number I can call to tell you all thank you personally? You and @NVIDIAGFN kept me sane in the hospital a couple weeks ago!
Steve Jackson, John Peake and I founded Games Workshop in January 1975. It was 50 years ago TODAY when we received our first order for six Mancala boards, which were hand-made by John. It was the start of a life-long career in games which I still love and will never retire from.
Regardless of anyone’s view on the matter, that’s an insane amount of loss and stressful time in such a short span.
The community you’ve worked so hard to build will always be waiting for you to return and are here if there’s ever a time that you need support!
I’ve been watching your YouTube since I got into the ARPG genre and you’ve been nothing but kind, helpful and one of the most genuine people out there.
It’s not fair that the good ones sometime get dealt the shit RNG of life for a bit but just remember ALLLLL of the positivity you bring in for others🫡💜
Hey all. I'm taking the weekend off. 🙂
I'll be back on Tuesday (or earlier).
Why am I taking off until Tuesday?
With the loss of my channel mascot & one of my best friends, my kitty Gary-kun, I'm having some real grief issues. I lost my first channel mascot, Letho, just two years ago at age 5. He disappeared and we never found him. I never really got over it and since there was no big "event", kinda compartmentalized it. Then three weeks ago, our family dog Booker (at only 7) died while I was away traveling. Now with Gary's passing last Saturday, I'm just kinda in a terrible place.
The main issue for me is that these guys are everywhere. Every inch of my office is plastered with pictures, plushies, etc. My entire place of work is drenched in their memories at a time when I can barely think about them for more than a minute without losing it. I sat down today and tried to hit that start streaming button for about 30 minutes and gave up. It just hurts too much right now, and reminders are everywhere.
Why am I telling you all this?
This is the longest time I've taken off streaming since I started. It's only fair, in my eyes, that those who choose to continue to support what I do get some insight on why their show isn't being delivered! 🤣 But nah, being away from the stream is stressful. Streaming is one of my favorite things to do in life. I wanted to let you guys know I'm working to get back to it as soon as possible and I hope taking this time off will get us back to it as soon as we can!
Thank you guys so much for the words of support, your patience and your understanding during all this. I know it's crazy to many of you how much the death of these little guys has affected me but we all work in different ways about this stuff. They were my family and some of my best friends. So again, thanks for understanding.
I still may pop on here or there over the next few days but like today, I'll probably mostly be lurking in chat and working on feeling better.
Thanks and see you guys soon. o/
If new games stop being printed physically and publishers go all digital, will you stop buying and playing new games, or continue to buy them even though you can't get a physical copy? Here's our answers: https://t.co/RvvTSec3Wt
Some wildly eye-opening quotes in here about the pitfalls of larger game development. Much of large-scale gamedev works almost directly against a solid end product due to poor/inefficient collaboration between larger teams. Yowch.
Knowing what we know now about Starfield, very telling!
Been a while and it’s been a lousy last few weeks (with some points of awesomeness thanks to my hubby @PuckBrandGaming) so I decided to queue up vids from the awesome @PushinUpRoses! They are the one who designed & made the engagement pendant I proposed to Puck with!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, even if it was only for a few minutes! The ISS Intrepid’s #Starflight cruise will continue as we hope that @RavensThree continues the @starflightbooks series!! I’ll have the video up on YouTube soon, check https://t.co/u6dA3GTNXo for links!
