in recovery atm and trying to lose weight healthily. but i still have this account to check up on moots every once in a while. i'll probs update to let u guys know how my healthy weight-loss goes every once in a while !
BUT WHEN I DO IT, IT'S DISORDERED??
these gym bros need to wake tf up. stop promoting this bullshit where u know people look up to u and think this is healthy. I'm so sick of all of them acting like they're immune to having an eating disorder, especially restrictive eds
@kaikanteat thats so disgusting, they can't even respect that you're in a new relationship and happy. i'm so sorry. is this the ex who was being really weird about ur ed and calories ect ect once they found out u struggled with an ed?? (aka almost competing with u in a way)
@m0chm0cha i put in lightly active or moderately active bc my cals fall in between those two areas. but, i also go to the gym and stuff so i need to make sure i'm eating enough.
what is better, myfitnesspal or mynetdiary ?? ive been using myfitnesspal for years but the interface is so ugly, i cant scan the food anymore. but it connects to my garmin account for free. mynetdiary has a free food scanner, is so much more fun, but no connection to my garmin.
@m0chm0cha i just checked this out and made and account AND WTF??? bro ive been living in the depths of hell with myfitnesspal. THIS APP IS SO FUCKING COOL TYSM
@m0chm0cha exactly !! like part of accepting your body is realising when you need to do better for yourself and to heal. (and obviously this goes for edtwt and eds too. i'm pro recovery always. )
I hate how fat activism has turned into shaming people for wanting to lose weight to better themselves. I watch so many videos from people who used to be in the fat acceptance community, and the way they break down everything with how these people think is insane to me. I still +
may be true for some people, especially really fatphobic people, and people on edtwt/with eds. but regular people? who view fat people as people, no different than them. will not view it like this. it's fr about wanting to better yourself and get healthy
some of them would've got mad if I had mentioned wanting to just lose weight bc I wanted to. so many people in this community think intentional weight loss is done of bc comparing, and actively thinking that, 'u do not want to look like one of ur fat friends' which honestly +
