Mina's Family have shared a Message on her Instagram Account:
“This is Mina’s family. We sincerely apologize for causing a public commotion during this time.
On August 9th, we were able to bring our daughter back home. This day was her 26th birthday. We are deeply filled with grief that we could not fulfill our promise to celebrate her birthday together.
Our daughter was deeply hurt by critical posts on social media, felt as though her right to live was denied, and ended her life. Can you imagine a beloved family member suddenly disappearing from your life? I hope that more people will reflect on how the words they put out—along with everything visible, such as photos and videos—are received by others.
Lastly, we express our deepest gratitude to the friends who were close to our daughter, everyone who supported and cheered her on, and the friends who helped our family through this difficult time.
To my brothers and sisters in Korea: thank you for loving me, even though it was for a short time. It was fun, friends! Let’s meet again.”
