and a lot of ritsu’s character definitely is mostly focused on his relationship w/ mob, but fuckin of course it is mob is the main character his dynamic w/ everyone he meets is important!!!! and again that is why those moments i mentioned exist, to show ritsu outside of mob!!!!
i love their relationship to bits but he absolutely has his moments even when mob’s not there, when he helps the awakening lab kids escape and when he helps shou stop claw are very obviously meant to show that he has his own strengths and doesn’t need to compare himself to mob
just saw a post saying ritsu never becomes his own person outside of his brother and the op made a fucking “potential man” thing for him omfggggg don’t piss me off

this was a very lovely read! has some beautifully realistic depictions of queer identity and just raw emotion portrayed through both its characters and the stunning art and visual metaphors. wish it was a bit longer just to spend more time w/ the characters

super funny movie i absolutely loved how absurd this was, tho that kinda made its attempt at serious emotional conflict halfway through feel a little forced. but overall very good comedy film and a fun watch that got a ton of laughs out of me!
