The method: Face off against an agent. Beat him in 3 games, and a soulbound token Winner is airdropped to your wallet on @base. Lose, and your wallet will be marked forever as a loser.

We spent hours in the lab training these AIs, fine-tuning prompts, and crafting the ultimate whitelist experience.

Deliver massive high-quality 3D renders anytime for low cost? Challenge Accepted! 💪

We set out on a mission to create our own render farm to handle the high demands of 3D image rendering. Our goal is to optimize our processes and manage costs effectively.

We don’t gatekeep, so here's how we pulled it off:

We choose Scaleway, a French-based company that suits our needs perfectly. Their servers allows us to manage our own rendering queue, fine-tune our scripts for maximum efficiency, and deploy additional servers within minutes if demand spikes.

Running a server 24/7 is too expensive, especially when usage is lower. To manage costs better, we developed a script that starts the server only when there's a rendering request and stops it once the rendering is complete. This smart solution keeps our costs down while ensuring we can render high-quality images whenever needed.

Here's a simplified workflow 👇

1. Render requested
2. Backend: the backend server verifies, processes, and stores the modification data.
3. Render Request: the backend contacts Miinded Render Farm to request a render.
4. Queue Management: Miinded Render Farm adds the render job to the RabbitMQ queue.
5. Rendering: the render server checks RabbitMQ, retrieves the job, and starts rendering.
6. Completion: once rendering is complete, the server notifies Miinded Render Farm and uploads the images to a CDN.

The entire process takes between 1 and 4 minutes from start to finish.

By carefully selecting a datacenter, optimizing our rendering processes, and managing costs through strategic server usage, we built an efficient and cost-effective render farm. Despite challenges like limited RAM, we found innovative solutions that allow us to deliver high-quality 3D renders efficiently and affordably.
