It actually makes me so sad that a lot of the Socceroos have comments limited on their post WC social posts (I’m assuming as protection). Those boys - all of them - are such Aussie legends and did us all so proud. Hope they do know that.
what doc clarke, craig starcevich and darren crocker all have in common (aside from flags in the aflw) is the core belief that coaching women’s is the highest level of coaching.
Neale Daniher was handed a diagnosis that comes with 2-3 years life expectancy and no cure. He fought it for over a decade and threw everything at it not for himself, but for others.
Inspirational doesn't even come close to describing him.
This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen.
Excusing racism, sexism and homophobia because football is a “hard game” and “competitive”.
Spare me.
This sets a disgusting precedent.

i don’t recall a single trans athlete participating in recent games, but i do recall steven van de velde being allowed to compete in the 2024 paris games a few years back AFTER being convicted of raping a 12 year old girl in 2016
I feel like a lot of people fail to understand that JKR is not just a bigot
She is an anti-trans ACTIVIST, she is actively using her influence & wealth to strip away rights and protections for trans people.
She's not just passively holding her own views, she is dangerous
Nikki Hiltz, a transgender & non-binary Olympian, speaks out against the event’s new anti-trans policy:
“I don't know who needs to hear this but ZERO trans women competed in the Paris Olympics. Only ONE trans woman weightlifter competed in Tokyo 2021 and she did not win a medal. Can we please stop obsessing over trans people? And idk maybe focus our time, energy, and resources into real problems women's sports face?”
