As Mayor, I herby declare officially that everyone in the City of #Guelph should take the rest of the day off. It’s way too nice outside, so get out there! If your boss gives any pushback when you get up to leave, just tell them “the Mayor said so!”😉
If you're still social distancing, washing your hands, and wearing a mask, please retweet this tweet. I just want people to know it's not overreacting, it's caring about your health and saving the lives of others.
No paintings done by real and truly talented artists were harmed in the staging of this photo. But have a look for yourself at the more than 300 works available during this year's @ArtSPayWR show! You'll be glad you did. https://t.co/ygb2XUI42w
Today is CAO Mike Murray’s last day of work before retirement. Please join us in wishing him well! Mike: we’re proud of this organization and we’re going to miss you. @mlmwaterloo
No launch party. No finale party. No big events. And in the height of a pandemic. Yet still, Waterloo Region helped the #Farwell4Hire campaign soar to new heights, raising $160,588 this year. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the support.
I tried doing Paul's job last week. I wasn't very good at it. Meanwhile, he comes on my show this morning and speaks like a seasoned pro. I'm jealous of Paul. He's good at everything!
We need to shake this outdated idea that working more hours always generates more output.
Performance is relative and not all hours are created equal. Working 6 hours at 90% produces more work than 9 hours at 55%, and I guarantee you it's better work too.
Put well-being first.
My hangout for the evening. The patio reservations are filling quickly but you can always call for take-out! 519-576-6737. Fifty per cent of sales today being donated to #Farwell4Hire!
