@BillKristol What Lindsay "became". Unreal. He lived in the reality that was, not the fantasy you wish it were. He continued to serve his country bc he understood what you don't. To effect change in a positive way, someone has to stay and offer counsel, do the work, and have a voice.

When I was Muslim, I knew Jesus as “Isa.”

Here’s what nobody at the mosque could ever tell me: what does “Isa” mean?

Nothing. It has no meaning in Arabic. Scholars still debate where the Quran even got the form — it doesn’t match the Arabic Christians of that era were already using for Jesus (Yasu’).

Now watch the original.

His name in Hebrew is YESHUA. And Yeshua isn’t a label. It’s a sentence. It means “YHWH SAVES.”

That’s why the angel in Matthew 1:21 doesn’t just assign the name — he explains it: “You shall call his name Jesus, FOR HE will save his people from their sins.”

For HE will save. The angel puts YHWH’s job description on the baby. The name is the claim, baby.

Every time a first-century Jew said “Yeshua,” they were saying “YHWH saves” — and pointing at a carpenter from Nazareth.

And the Old Testament had already loaded the name.

Isaiah 43:11 — “I, even I, am YHWH, and BESIDES ME THERE IS NO SAVIOR.” God says salvation is exclusively His. Then He shows up wearing the name.

Islam gave me a Jesus with a meaningless name and a limited job — prophet, messenger, warner, nothing more.

The Bible gave me a Jesus whose NAME is the Gospel. Acts 4:12 — “There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

The name I was taught was empty.

The real name was the whole message.

YHWH saves. I’m the proof.

Praise the Lord, there’s POWER in Your NAME.

You know what wrecked me when I was converting to Christianity?

Jihad is literally the gospel in reverse. Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.

The gospel says Christ shed His blood for YOU.
Jihad says you shed your blood for ALLAH.
Jesus lays down His life to save His enemies. Jihad calls you to take the lives of enemies in pursuit of God's favor.

Christianity says the Shepherd dies so the sheep can live. Jihad says the sheep die hoping the Shepherd accepts them.

They are mirrors. One is grace, the other is striving.

One says, "It is finished." The other says, "Do more."

Jesus never asked me to earn God's love with my blood, he proved God's love by shedding His own.

That's why the cross changed everything for me. Jesus didn't come to tell us how to die for God.

He came to die for us so we could truly live. PRAISE GOD! I AM FREE! Now, we need to make all the Muslims Christian.

@AdamKinzinger He stayed and worked for the country he loved. Trump has not been as supportive of Ukraine, where did Lindsay Graham spend his last days? Defending freedom in Ukraine. He lived in reality. Trump is President, he worked in the system that was, not the fantasy he wanted it to be.

@DefiantLs I just see this and it makes me sad for her. Sad to see someone convinced that changing their body will change what's in their heart and mind. It won't, but so many are being lied to that it will. If it brings temporary relief, it won't last. Nothing superficial ever does.

@abbydphillip @CNN The men on the panel tonight were so disrespectful to the woman you had on, rolling their eyes and laughing at her legitimate viewpoints. Just such a turn off. They wouldn't let her finish a sentence. It made me uninterested in anything they had to say. Wonder if they get that.
