forgot how exhausting it is to debate tech bros who insist
- diversity is important obv except not important enough to spend effort on
- their all male team is diverse in other ways!
- the problem is not w the company but rather the women who don’t apply
- they only hire the best
At some point we're going to need to begin a conversation about abelism, normalisation of death & disability among the most vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised in society- by journalists & media. I've seen hundreds of such cases. This isn't healthy @helaineolen
@TRyanGregory Honestly, *ALL* the formats. This idea needs a marketing budget.
Target audiences:
Close family members that interact with children
Friends that don't understand why you aren't ready to eat indoors
16-25 yo's with no attention span
That old guy at Costco
etc
In the last 10 years I have hired over 300 people.
I have found that it's WAY HARDER to recruit senior women leaders, even as a female CEO.
Here’s my playbook for how to get great senior women to join your company:
i just need people to understand that before cell phones we had to call landlines and your friend's parents would answer and YOU HAD TO TALK TO THEIR PARENTS until your friend came to the phone
@annehelen One of the things that continues to shock me is how little my 3yo knows about the world.
He only recently started going into grocery stores, and was blown away by the volume of food.
He's never been on a plane.
He doesn't know how to make friends.
So much. #bunkerbabies
What's an aspect of parenting during the last two years that, even with a whole lot of pandemic parenting content, still feels like people aren't talking about it/acknowledging it enough?
Dear Teachers,
As some of you may know, if you have any students who identify as Christian in your class, they may be absent while observing the Christian holiday of Christmas.
