Which one do you use more — L1 or L2?

Layer 1 vs Layer 2 — simple version.
Layer 1 is the main blockchain.
Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin… the base layer.
Very secure, but can get slow and expensive when crowded

Layer 2 sits on top of Layer 1.
It handles transactions faster and cheaper, then settles them back on Layer 1 for security.
Think of it like this:
Layer 1 = main road
Layer 2 = express lane

dApps are apps that run on the blockchain instead of company servers.
Normal apps can be shut down or changed by one company.
dApps can’t. The rules live on the chain.
No permission needed. No single boss.

Smart contracts are just code that runs itself.
You write the rules once.
If this happens → then that happens.
No middleman. No one has to approve it.
