@PositivFuturist Every hight street has them, often multiple, always empty. While real shops struggle to stay open. Everyone knows they are dodgy. Blows my mind how councils licence these places when every legitimate business has to fight tooth and nail to even open.

@calumtjd Further, where I live in Splott across the road an old woman who lived here recently died and the house was sold, it's now becoming a HMO. It was a typical 2 bedroom. How can young families ever start when these houses are being converted?

@calumtjd I'm 30, all my friends who've bought places have had to move out of Cardiff. It's impossible to compete with our own government for houses. I'm 1 rent increase away from being forced to leave too. We all grew up here, we are Welsh, we have jobs, it just doesn't make sense.
