Until people realize that the API gives you so much more freedom than the subscription everybody’s going to be stuck in Elementary School. The Anthropic subscription (or any subscription) limits your ability to allow open claw to really be free. Pay for the API and you’ll see the difference.

@MatthewBerman I find that if you switch models it hallucinates and begins to have multiple personalities. I’ve had to reset my entire entirely twice now because of doing just that switching models.

To be honest, XAI has been able to accomplish task that OpenAI and Claude would resist. It was a simple as SSH into another Mac mini at my house. XAI was the only one that would actually just do it without resisting OpenAI wouldn't even try kept saying that is not within my runtime of this telegram.

I was using a grok api and my openclaw Leo worked on another instance of openclaw, Hero, on another Mac mini where Leo designed and installed a Google workspace process with a web app for my techs that was working flawlessly. Hero was programmed as only an operations bot for the business. My openclaw created a Google chat app for hero and the team. But then I switched to open ai today and Leo is telling me he can’t do anything of what he did previously. Spent 4 hours of me trying to figure out why he had forgetting everything he did. He now he is asking me to do everything. Kinda frustrating. Very frustrating actually.
