Today marks the 78th anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe), during which more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled and over 400 villages were destroyed to establish the State of Israel.
In 10 minutes, Israel bombed 100 targets in Lebanon, including schools with displaced civilians, health centers and even a funeral. The areas hit were supposedly āsafeā. Thousands of casualties. Thousands. In 10 minutes. This is how Israel makes up for its failures. With blood.
In remarks by head of OHCHR in Palestine on International Womenās Day, Ajith Sunghay said that in 2026, it is a shame that Palestinian women are still systematically denied their basic rights:
Not even apartheid South Africa codified executions for only one ārace groupā. Israel is now the most racist state the world has ever known.
Shame on every government, every company, every individual who offer it support.
Israel must immediately repeal the discriminatory death penalty law passed today by the Knesset, as it contravenes Israelās obligations under international law.
The United Nations opposes the death penalty under all circumstances. The implementation of this new law would violate international law's prohibition of cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment.
Additionally, this law further entrenches Israelās violation of the prohibition of racial segregation and apartheid as it will exclusively apply to Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Israel, who are often convicted after unfair trials.

mind you most palestinian āprisonersā are held WITHOUT CHARGE OR TRIAL!!
and they ALREADY face inhumane treatment in Israeli prison, they are rejected medical care, beaten, raped, starved, and endless humiliation.
Today, Palestinians commemorate the 50th anniversary of Land Day. A day of resistance against Israelās colonization, land theft, dispossession, displacement, and ongoing Nakba.
Land is central to our collective identity, being, and survival as a nation. The land that we nourished with our hands for centuries holds the memories of our ancestors, the sorrows of our elders, and the future of our children.
Everyday is a Land Day in Palestine.

Today is Land Day.
50 years ago today, six un-armed Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces and more than 100 were injured during protests against Israelās confiscation of Palestinian land.
Palestinians observe today by holding protest marches and planting olive trees.
As was the case in Gaza, US/Israel regards any hub of care, creativity, or learning in Iran as legitimate military targets. Important to remember that this war started with the slaughter of 168 schoolchildren. Since then, more than 80,000 civilian structures have been targeted.
Heās not just any chef. Heās one of Lebanonās finest, known for his cooking.
But heās put it all aside, rented a large kitchen, & is now cooking daily to support displaced families.
Please help with whatever you can. Every little bit makes a difference. Thank you š

One of the most beautiful cities in the Middle East is turning into rubble, while millions of Lebanese people are being ethnically cleansed from their homes all because of a certain apartheid nation
